Iceland and Denmark and the bubble burst

Last year I had visitors from Denmark. Iceland as a country is pretty cosy with Denmark.




One of the Danish visitors was telling me that in the past 2 years Iceland's financial Institutions,banks and big businessmen were buying into Danish businesses, retail organisations, properties etc. at disproportionately high prices. Even businesses which were not doing well were snapped up by the Icelanders. Even the man in the street was aware that this bubble would burst and these Iceland FIIs would go bust.


If the aam aadmi was apprehensive how come responsible organisations like the Iceland Govt. or these FII were caught napping? Well.. the public have reasons to vent their anger on the streets.

How was this supposition formulated? I could imagine this will be a hotly contested claim in many places & by many persons. May be even in this group.

Even if every rape resulted in conception and later birth, it is difficult for thousands of children to have borne from hundreds of women, unless all those women stayed with him at least for decades and were continued to be ‘raped’ over time. In such situations followed by rape, men & women often developed less repressive and more enduring relationships. Post partition, several women, who were abducted, raped and later taken on as wives or in live in relationships on either side of the divide, when given the choice to be reunited with their earlier families mostly refused. Of course there were several reasons for this including strong apprehensions, well founded invariably, of their hostile reception back home.


On the other hand if Khan moved on from places his troops ravaged after raping women (more abundant outcomes these), then the statement would better read as : “…fathered hundreds of kids from thousands of women, many of them raped by him”.


As far as the ‘genetic basis’ of terrorism goes, there is also research on to isolate the gene that is responsible for the group on yahoo website.

A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in bed.

She goes downstairs to look for him. She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front of him.

He appears to be in deep thought, just staring at the wall. She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of his coffee.

"What's the matter, dear?" she whispers as she steps into the room. "Why are you down here at this time of night?"

The husband looks up from his coffee, "Do you remember 20 years ago when we were dating, and you were only 18?" he asks solemnly. "Yes I do" she replies.


The husband pauses, the words were not coming easily. "Do you remember when your father caught us in the garden?"

"Yes, I remember" said the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him.

The husband continued.. "Do you remember when he showed the shotgun in my face and said, 'Either you marry my daughter, or I'll send you to jail for 20 years?"


"I remember that too" she replied softly.

He wiped another tear from his cheek and said, "I would have been released today!"

In our times we too have our 'Chengiz Khan' -the most virile person known to mankind.


His name is Tiger Woods, Ha Ha Ha.

He has started early on his conquests. His exploits are well documented (thanks to the American press). If like Changiz Khan he was allowed to get away , by the next half century half of USA population would have had his genes. America would have the best golfers -people who could put balls into the right holes !!! Ha Ha Ha. Thanks to America's freedom of press he was halted in his track.
