Procedure

1- Buyer ask inquiry .

2- Seller offer specification & prices .

3- Buyer send ICPO/Latest dated BCL according to offered specification & prices.

4- Seller will issue FCO and will send to buyer .

5- Buyer sign & seal FCO and return to Seller .

6- Buyer send Draft Contract & PI to Buyer .

7- Buyer sign & seal Contract & PI and return to Seller for sign & Seal too .

8- Buyer issue pre advice L/C ( no operative L/C ) .

9- Seller issue 2% PB to make operative L/C(if agreed) .

10- Seller start sending the Commodity to the destination port(ON FOB OR C&F ABSIS).

11. Seller would issue the BL and packing list,certificate of origin and other documents agreed to the buyers.

12. Buyer would make the LC free.

I have just received a price of US$520 per metric tonne for Bitumen grade 80/100 FOB.

For all other grades please contact me with the quantity they require and on what basis FOB or C&F.

Please bearing in mind that the above procedure cannot be altered.

Iranian Bitumen is a tough job to buy in such a huge quantity on monthly basis.. because of Following

Iran Origin Bitumen Sales every Tuesday on a Exchange in Iran

If one Awarded the bid than he has to pay Money within 5 working days

Some of the quantity is traded on FOB, but mostly on Ex factory

Last Traded prices for Exchange was, 440/usd/pmt ex factory Drumming cost and fob cost is 88/usd/pmt so it is fob cost at BA/BIK (Bandar Abbas and Bander Immam Khomeni)

Iran does not accept mostly LC in Dollars due to Embargo

their LC Come in Dubai and chaged in UAE Currency or deal done on DP Sight basis

For Loading Bitumin Containers are mostly not avaialbe every month in iran being a Liquid Commodity

20000 Mts At per month level from iran is a Highly risky affair, my last 50 containers took more than 30 days to load from there

None of the refinery provided SGS in their Premises, they deal on their own specification, so SGS is ony available where Shipper withdraw samples by themselves and provide to SGS

Price after February will start going down and may go down up to 25 to 30 usd/pmt fob in Iran
