Recent News item: Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on the occasion of distribution of awards to the prominent writers and authors of the State at a function organized by the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Language at SKICC
Chief Minister gave away awards comprising of cash of Rs 25000, memento and shawl to 16 prominent writers of the State who compiled their books during 2004 and 2005. The awardees are Dr. Jatinder Udhampuri, Ch. Noor Mohammad Majhroo, late Som Nath Zutshi, Syed Majrooh Malangami, Prof. Rashpal Singh Bali, Hakim Manzoor, Dr. Ashok Jerath, Prof. A. N.
