Blaise Pascal, mathematician and Nobel Laureate physicist Steven Weinberg on Religion

"Religion is an insult to human dignity.

With or without it, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things.

But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."

-- by Nobel Laureate physicist Steven Weinberg:

"Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."

 (Blaise Pascal, mathematician, 1670)
