Columnist since 1988 :Over 700 articles in Daily news papers ( Hindi -Dainik Jangran –every Saturday since 2005- ).English Daily Excelsior &Greater Kashmir Srinagar (over 450 )with magazines like South Asia Voice , American Chronicle :social workerlast 27 years .Engineer with M.Tech degree ( 1971):Belong to a family that has seen the times of Sheikh Mohd Abdullah to G.M.Bakshi,Shams u Din,G.M.Sadiq,Mir Qasim &Sheikh after 1975. Ex- President(2004-07)J&K Confederation of Voluntary Social and Charitable Organisations. Ex President (6 years ) J&K Samaj Kalyan Kendra ( 1981),Advisor to President J&K SKK #Edited Ashaya Samaj Varg a magazine ,for 3 years. Ex Principal Investigator of a Project financed by CART ( 1986-89)Worked with project Shramik Vidaya Peeth for 3 years .Remained associated with a Unicef Project on disabilities for 5yrsAdvisor International Human Rights Protection Council, Jammu & Jammu Gamin Vikas Sanstha .Promoted concept of Social Audit (GRASP INDIA). Founder Jammu Opinion Forum and Vichar Kranti Manch International. Worked 1971-74 with L&T. Retired (2003)from Public Sector. Worked as expert in a ADB Loan Funded Project .
