In her new movie Eat, Pray, Love to be released on the 13th of August, Julia Roberts plays Liz Gilbert who had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having – a husband, a house, a successful career – yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery. In her travels, she discovers the true pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali.

The movie is based upon the bestselling memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love that proves that there really is more than one way to let yourself go and see the world.

Julia Roberts revealed to Elle Magazine and other sources that shooting in India and Bali made a great impact on her. “The entire Roberts-Moder family goes to temple together to chant and pray and celebrate. I'm definitely a practicing Hindu," says Roberts, who grew up with a Catholic mother and Baptist father.

When the actress was in India last year to shoot for her film her children were given Hindu names by Swami Daram Dev of Ashram Hari Mandir. The names were Laxmi for Hazel, Ganesh for Phinnaeus and Krishna Balaram for Henry.

Answering to a reporter`s question Julia Roberts reveals: "I've been so spoiled with my friends and family in this life, next time I want to be just something quiet and supporting."
