AN INSIGHT INTO BHARATA-CHINA BORDER DISPUTE By Ramakant Tiwari
Now that Chinese-Viruses have retreated from Galvan and all Finger-Points in Ladakh, it’s time to peep into history. This article is based on an exposition delivered by incumbent Mizoram Governor at VIF, New Delhi few years ago.
Regular Chinese intrusions started right in 1954 itself !! Nehru used to write Sob-letters to Chinese PM Chou En Lai in the language of a jilted / ditched lover begging him not to treat us so shabbily !! In reality, there is no border dispute at all !!
When Dalai Lama did not demand Bhutan/Sikkim/AP/Ladakh from Bharata at their instigation, Chinese annexed Tibet.
It was a speech that stunned the entire audience.

Ashoka syndrome would soon become the Prithviraj syndrome
An interesting article by a retd army officer
P.S - I'm not a M bhakt 😑
In India, it's never about ideology. It is only about civilisation. And to put it on record this is why PM Modi faces a massive smear campaign from a powerful lobby. But this did not start in 2014. It started long ago, we have to go back by centuries to understand this.
India wasn't born in 1947, because unlike many other countries we got independent and not created afresh. Therefore, what happened before 1947 is as important as what happened after 1947. The most underrated event in our history being the Kalinga war of 265 BC.
The war changed Ashoka, the famous Mauryan ruler but it would also change India for centuries to come. The emperor became pacifist. Whatever be his own ideology, it is very easy to confuse reluctance to wage war with a senselessly defensive mindset.
For years to come, the Indian civilisation became utterly defensive. Succeeding Indian dyanasties and emperors would avoid expansionism. But their ability to perceive and pre-empt threats also went down. Compromise and forgiveness became the keywords of our civilisation.
The Ashoka syndrome would soon become the Prithviraj syndrome. Indians have been valiant warriors, but the issue is that of excessive magnanimity. Prithviraj Chauhan defeated Muhammad of Ghori in 11th century, but let him go. Later, Ghori defeated Prithviraj and blinded him.
In the course of this thread, you will realise how we would keep getting betrayed just like Prithviraj Chauhan another 10 centuries later. Anyway, Prithviraj Chauhan's unnecessary magnanimity allowed Islamic conquest of India. This, of course, led to centuries of plunder.
After the Kalinga war, we never achieved a system that would match up to the aggression against Indian civilisation. The unnecessarily defensive regime would give way to Islamic conquest, and Islamic conquest would give way to the British Raj.
Needless to mention, the social thinkers and commoners also became timid about their own civilisation. Britishers made us believe that we were misogynist and archaic. Some of our most celebrated social thinkers relentlessly promoted British education as a panacea.
As I told you, everything is about civilisation. Every successive regime shamed anyone who tried to stand up for civilisational pride. British era gave way for the Nehruvian era. India's political leadership again ordained that India would adopt strategic restraint
China entered our territory. So India's first Prime Minister said, "not a blade of grass grows" in those barren mountains. Of course, no one in the intellectual lobby protested. Nehru was doing what they wanted him to do. Be magnanimous to the extent of being self harming.
Nehru was only continuing what started with the Kalinga war. Then came Indira. She suffered the Prithviraj syndrome. Won the 1971 war, but gave away the exploits in Shimla Agreement. Pak turned another Ghori. ISI came up with a doctrine- bleed India through a thousand cuts.
This doesn't end here. Vajpayee faced the wrath of the ecosystem for many reasons. The only thing they don't criticise him for is not crossing the LoC during the 1999 Kargil war. This is again a manifestation of extreme generosity. Pak could cross the LoC but not India.
The Parliament attack happened, we didn't retaliate. Operation Prakram never materialised into anything. Few years later, 26/11 happened. But India's then PM Manmohan Singh chose "strategic restraint". No one in a powerful lobby criticised him.
As long as you don't go beyond the Laksham-rekha that has been drawn by centuries of timidity, no one will rebuke you. But PM Modi went a step further. Pakistan attacked in Uri, so the Para SF caused damage to terror launchpads across the LoC.
With the Balakot airstrikes, he still went several steps further. Of course, he is hated. After several centuries, India is pre-empting threats. We had stopped pre-empting in 265 BC, how come we could pre-empt now. Modi-hate is not about ideology, it’s about civilisation !!!
I wish n I hope that this Modi succeeds in transforming our mindset for the other Modis to follow the suit, coz one Modi will not be sufficient enough to clear the rot accumulated through centuries.
🤔

Modi will turn it around. Pok before 2024 and a free Tibet perhaps some time after that. I have full confidence now. Of course there will be turbulence in between because nothing good comes so easy.

Today is the birth anniversary of Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and one of the main ideal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
On 20th June in 1947 the Bengal Legislature voted for Partition of Bengal prior to the partition of India. Thus West Bengal was created where Bengali Hindus got into a separate province & ultimately merge in India instead of being stalked & tortured as minority in erstwhile East Pakistan.
He laid down his life for Integration of Jammu Kashmir with India.
Pranam to the great statesman & founder of #Jansangh Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee who made it possible. 🙏🙏🙏

More notes
Are Communists compulsive liars? A compulsive liar is one who cannot help lying even if he knows he will be caught very soon. I am being forced to come to that conclusion upon reading a long diatribe on Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee in their daily Bengali rag ‘Ganashakti’ (which used to be forced upon people till 2011, but now nobody reads it). They have tried to be clever, mixing half-truths with brazen falsehoods and hiding very important facts.
Difficult to enumerate all such on twitter/Facebook.
Just a few examples:
1. The author has put the cuckold Mountbatten’s words in Sardar Patel’s mouth.
2. He has said that SPM’s resignation speech made no mention of Kashmir or Art 370 but omitted to mention that SPM’s resignation had NOTHING TO DO WITH KASHMIR-it was in protest against Nehru’s stupid pact with Liaquat Ali which tried to sweep under the carpet the horrible persecution of more than a crore of minority Hindus by Muslims in East Bengal
3. In fact *SPM till 1951 was primarily concerned with Muslim atrocities in East Bengal which Nehru tried to brush aside*. He applied himself to the Kashmir problem only thereafter
4. He mentions that the RSS was banned by Patel following the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, but forgets that the BAN WAS LIFTED by the self same Sardar Patel, while Guruji Golwalkar declared, ”We’ve changed nothing”. Many more such.
The worst carnage was over in about 3 weeks beginning 10 October 1946. Meanwhile the police and military had swung into action. Syamaprasad and Gandhiji both went there after the atrocities had subsided. *SPM’s main contribution, with the cooperation of Swami Madhavananda of Ramakrishna Mission, was to persuade Hindu society to accept back the Hindus who had been force-fed beef or forcibly converted or women who had been raped.* This was a very difficult task, but he succeeded. Gandhiji tried to ‘change the hearts of Muslims and to persuade Hindus to return to their half-burnt homes. He failed totally in spite of very hard work over 2-3 months. If you want to know more about this you may read biography “Syama Prasad Mookerjee: Life and Times” (Penguin Random House India).
*Savarkar was already very ill around this time. That is why he handed over working presidentship of the Hindu Mahasabha to SPM shortly after the latter entered politics.*
ten Plan of 3rd June 1947, as signed by both Congress and Muslim League, and announced the same day in the British Parliament by the Prime Minister Clement Attlee the same day.
*The Indian Independence Act, 1947, as approved by the King on 18th July 1947, accordingly clear provisions for splitting India into majority Muslim and non-Muslim districts on the basis of 1941 Census.* It is, therefore, disingenuous to quibble about why non-Muslims are the target of this 2019 Act.
*What this CAA does is to clearly recognise the Medina-Hudaibiyah-Mecca route of the Islamic Ummat/Millat and places a sword through it.*
_The additional problem of the whole plot coming into bold relief in this information age is even more stark._ *_What it also does is to energise the nascent Hindu renaissance by bringing into their ken the real history of partition, the real intent of the Medina project, and to wear off the anaesthesia applied to the still open wounds by a deliberately distorted Leftist history._*
The distress among the Islamists is palpable. Pakistan sounding even more distressed than at the time of nullification of Article 370 is because it can clearly see that while the nullification of Art. 370 meant a termination of the Medina Project, this new 2019 Act means a reversal, in which Mecca is coming for Medina, instead of a mere status quo. *Dr. Ambedkar had famously said in his book ‘Pakistan and the Partition of India’ that Muslim politics is like Gangsters’ politics, in which they make more and more unreasonable demands, use riots as a tactic in the overall strategy, while playing victim all the while.*
_The present Government seems to have called this bluff. This must be bad news for Islamists as both Britain and the secularists had played along with this brand of Jinnah’s politics, conceding almost everything. Only Patel and Shyama Prasad Mookerjee stood between the Islamists and total surrender. Only Gopal Patha of Calcutta and the Sikhs stood between Islamists and total annihilation of non-Muslims in Pakistan._
While the above is the casus belli for the Islamists, Ummat and Millat, the pain of the secularists is purely from the point of view of electoral considerations. BJP had got 37.76% votes in 2019 General Elections by itself, and 22.9 crore votes, and over 45% vote for the NDA.
_First, if the secular parties are not able to protect the fortress Medina, the Islamic vote would gravitate to a more militant Islamic outfit, in the manner it shifted between 1937 and 1946. However, there is no Britain to aid them and no situation like one third of Army being Muslim exists today, as it existed in 1947._
_Second, the freshly added voters, particularly in Bengal and Assam, have the potential of taking the BJP vote share beyond 40%, and NDA vote share close to 50%, making it virtually invincible for many years to come._ Hence the life and death kind of noise and attempts at mayhem.
In the 72 years since independence, this appears to be one great opportunity that has been taken by the ruling dispensation, unlike the many missed opportunities of the past.

Never was the ideological assault on the Islamic Project of New Medina more remorseless! Pakistan is bound to feel absolutely distressed.

Below is a very interesting writeup by a Retd Army Officer. I liked it so much that I read it twice.
British era to gave way for the Nehruvian era.
Pak could cr0ss the LoC but not India.
After several centuries, India is and pre-empting threats. We had stopped pre-empting in 265 BC, how come we could pre-empt now. Modi-hate is not about ideology, it’s about civilisation !!
My views:.
It is not a question of BJP vs UPA....If you see it was Bajpayee and BJP in govt in 99 when we allowed them a safe passage when after defeat Pakis started going back....Being posted at Srinagar airport I got perplexed why....At least IAF jets could have rained bombs on them but no , the policy makers decided against it and gave them safe passage.....Allowed them to go... WHY.. ?
First time under Modi we find a paradigm shift in our policy and approach....We decided to cross and hit to settle score.
First time an Indian Prime Minister has publicly said, "ये नया भारत है हम घुसके मारेंगे"।

Nehru, Abdullah betrayed Maharaja Hari Singh By Sandhya Jain
Nehru, Abdullah betrayed Maharaja Hari Singh

The duplicitous games played with the only monarch who embraced Indian nationalism long before freedom could be seen on the horizon, whose accession retained India’s civilisational and geographical link with the land of sage Kashyap, is best gauged from his anguished letter to President Rajendra Prasad on 16-17 August 1952, three days before the monarch was abruptly abolished.
The 9000-odd word missive details the treachery of the Delhi durbar, choreographed by Jawaharlal Nehru and Sheikh Abdullah; Louis Mountbatten had moved on after initiating the State’s ruination. That such an important historical document is untraceable in the collected works of Indian statesmen is a telling commentary on how State-funded historians have fiddled with the history and memory of the Indian people. The integrity of such collections can be restored only by making every letter public, so that the nation can assess the heroes, villains and knaves for itself.
Writing from exile in Poona, Hari Singh informed the President that since his accession to the throne in 1925, the British had strengthened their hold on the State due to its great strategic importance. Hari Singh incurred their wrath as he tried to curtail their domination.
They instigated a religious rebellion in 1931 with slogans like ‘Down with Hindu Raj’ and ‘Islam in danger’; its key leaders like Chaudhary Ghulam Abbas and Maulvi Yusuf Shah received official posts in ‘Azad’ Kashmir. Within the kingdom, the leaders gained Congress cooperation by calling themselves ‘National Conference’. In 1947, Mountbatten hinted that the Maharaja join Pakistan, while the Government of India’s attitude was desultory.
In September 1947, Hari Singh was asked to appoint Mehr Chand Mahajan as Prime Minister; the latter was briefed by Sardar Patel and promised full cooperation. But on October 21, 1947, Patel wrote to MC Mahajan saying that Sheikh Abdullah (released from prison) was anxious to help the State deal with the troubles and wanted his hands strengthened. Nehru penned a similar letter to Mahajan, urging formation of a provincial government headed by Abdullah, the “most popular person in Kashmir”. Nehru urged withholding accession to India till such Interim Government was installed in the State. (Accession finally happened on October 26-27 in well-known circumstances).
Nehru again pressed Hari Singh for Abdullah’s elevation on November 13, 1947. On December 9, 1947, Minister without Portfolio, N Gopalaswami Ayyangar, urged immediate changes in the State’s constitutional and administrative set up, and sent a draft Proclamation approved by Abdullah, for Hari Singh to issue. Gopalaswami insisted on the matter on March 1, 1948, claiming Sheikh was vital to India’s case in the Security Council. Nudged by Nehru, Abdullah made some polite noises and on March 5, 1948, the Maharaja issued the Proclamation referred to in Article 370 of the Indian Constitution.
Between March 1948 and April 1949 when he was forced to quit the State, Hari Singh complained that Sheikh Abdullah and his party assumed total control, ignoring the king and directly securing the consent of the Government of India for whatever they wished. Sheikh objected when the Maharaja and his wife began touring the State to interact with the people and got Delhi to make the Maharaja quit the State ‘for a few months’.
The Yuvraj was appointed Regent, but reduced to a figurehead. The Proclamation of March 1948 stipulated appointment of a Dewan and reserved subjects, yet Abdullah subverted this repeatedly with Nehru’s backing. Hari Singh’s record of this constitutional sabotage makes painful reading even today as the nation reels in shock at the brutal mutilation of its brave jawans defending its difficult borders.
After the king’s eviction, Sheikh Abdullah aspired for absolute control. In a frontal attack on the Maharaja, he began interfering with his private properties, including administration of the Dharmarth Trust created by the dynasty of which Hari Singh was sole Trustee. Charities and institutions maintained from Trust revenues were starved of funds, costs of Puja in temples and Devasthans denied, and the Jammu branch of the Imperial Bank of India ordered to deny the Trustee the amounts of the fixed deposits of the Trust and to transfer the deposits to its Bombay Office! This single episode is the best instance of how Nehruvian secularism would unravel in independent India. Even now, there should be an inquiry into whose orders made the bank act in this manner.
By far the worst was Sheikh Abdullah’s slander – repeated by Nehru in an exceedingly rude letter to the Maharaja – that Hari Singh ran away to Jammu when the invasion began, when the truth is that he left on October 25 at the urging of VP Menon and in the larger interests of the State as the raiders were already at Baramulla. It was Sheikh Abdullah who fled from Srinagar for Delhi (and Nehru’s home) and did not return till Indian troops started landing in Srinagar.
In November 1950, Vishnu Sahay urged the Maharaja to set up a Constituent Assembly for the State, as foreshadowed in the March 1948 Proclamation, and now demanded by the National Conference. A draft Proclamation was sent for the Maharaja’s comments.
Hari Singh objected to this manner of setting up the Constituent Assembly as he was the properly constituted authority in law to promulgate the Proclamation, and not the Regent (Yuvraj). He felt the powers and functions of the Constituent Assembly should be express, well-defined and accurately worded and exclude from its purview matters not expressly entrusted to it. It should report to the authority that constitutes it, i.e. the ruler who shall seek the advice of the Parliament of India in the matter. But ultimately, the Maharaja was forced to permit the Yuvraj to set up the Constituent Assembly.
Warning the President of the dangers ahead, the Maharaja said the Indian Government had failed to appreciate the legal position; Nehru was taking it for granted that the relevant Articles, particularly Article 370, of the Indian Constitution can be altered and/or amended to suit Sheikh Abdullah. But Article 370 refers specifically to the Maharaja’s Proclamation of March 5, 1948. That is the law which governs the State of Jammu and Kashmir until a new Constitution is framed, approved and adopted not only by the Constituent Assembly of the State but also approved by the King and then by the President of India. But Nehru asked the Yuvraj (who is acting only as Regent) to become the elected Head of State with immediate effort, even before the State Constitution was framed, let alone approved and adopted. He thus deposed the king and the dynasty.
How, the aggrieved king asked the President, could the Government of India take all these steps over the head of the person on whose authority they entered the State and are continuing there and who was the Chief Author of the Proclamation on which is based the future construction of political set up in the country? Despite acting in good faith on the advice of the Indian Government, Mountbatten, Nehru, Patel and Gopalaswami, and despite Abdullah’s promises and assurances, he was eliminated by a process which was neither fair nor honourable. “Only history and posterity will be able to do justice to our respective points of view,” Hari Singh concluded. Perhaps the time for this has arrived.

What ails Kashmir? The Sunni idea of ‘azadi’
What ails Kashmir? The Sunni idea of ‘azadi’
The discomfort Kashmiris feel is about which laws self-rule must be under, and Hurriyat rejects a secular constitution
We know what Hurriyat Conference wants: azadi, freedom. But freedom from what? Freedom from Indian rule. Doesn’t an elected Kashmiri, Omar Abdullah, rule from Srinagar?
Yes, but Hurriyat rejects elections. Why? Because ballots have no azadi option. But why can’t the azadi demand be made by democratically elected leaders? Because elections are rigged through the Indian Army. Why is the Indian Army out in Srinagar and not in Surat? Because Kashmiris want azadi.
Let’s try that again.
What do Kashmiris want freedom from? India’s Constitution.
What is offensive about India’s Constitution? It is not Islamic. This is the issue, let us be clear.
The violence in Srinagar isn’t for democratic self-rule because Kashmiris have that. The discomfort Kashmiris feel is about which laws self-rule must be under, and Hurriyat rejects a secular constitution.
Hurriyat deceives the world by using a universal word, azadi, to push a narrow, religious demand. Kashmiris have no confusion about what azadi means: It means Shariah. Friday holidays, amputating thieves’ hands, abolishing interest, prohibiting alcohol (and kite-flying), stoning adulterers, lynching apostates and all the rest of it that comprises the ideal Sunni state.

Not one Shia gang terrorizes India; terrorism on the subcontinent is a Sunni monopoly.
There is a token Shia among the Hurriyat’s bearded warriors, but it is essentially a Sunni group pursuing Sunni Shariah. Its most important figure is Umar Farooq. He’s called mirwaiz, meaning head of preachers (waiz), but he inherited his title at 17 and actually is no Islamic scholar. He is English-educated, but his base is Srinagar’s sullen neighbourhood of Maisuma, at the front of the stone-pelting. His following is conservative and, since he has little scholarship, he is unable to bend his constituents to his view.
Hurriyat’s modernists are led by Sopore’s 80-year-old Ali Geelani of Jamaat-e-Islami. Jamaat was founded in 1941 by a brilliant man from Maharashtra called Maududi, who invented the structure of the modern Islamic state along the lines of a Communist one. Maududi opposed Jinnah’s tribal raid in Kashmir, which led to the Line of Control, saying jihad could only be prosecuted formally by a Muslim state, and not informally by militias. This wisdom was discarded later, and Hizb al-Mujahideen, starring Syed Salahuddin of cap and beard fame, is a Jamaat unit. Maududi was ecumenical, meaning that he unified the four Sunni groups of thought. He always excluded Shias, as heretics.
The Kashmiri separatist movement is actually inseparable from Sunni fundamentalism. Those on the Hurriyat’s fringes who say they are Gandhians, like Yasin Malik, are carried along by the others in the group so long as the immediate task of resisting India is in common. But the Hurriyat and its aims are ultimately poisonous, even for Muslims.
The Hurriyat Conference’s idea of freedom unfolds from a religious instinct, not a secular sentiment. This instinct is sectarian, and all the pro-azadi groups are Shia-killers. In promoting their hatred, the groups plead for the support of other Muslims by leaning on the name of the Prophet Muhammad.
Hafiz is a title and means memorizer of the Quran. Mohammed Saeed’s Lashkar Tayyaba means army of Tyeb (“the good”), one of the Prophet’s names. This is incorrectly spelled and pronounced by our journalists as “Taiba” or “Toiba”, but Muslims can place the name. Lashkar rejects all law from sources other than the recorded sayings and actions of Muhammad. This is called being Wahhabi, and Wahhabis detest the Shia.
Jaish Muhammad (Muhammad’s army) was founded in a Karachi mosque, and it is linked to the Shia-killing Sipah Sahaba (Army of Muhammad’s First Followers) in Pakistan’s Seraiki-speaking southern Punjab. The group follows a narrow, anti-Shia doctrine developed in Deoband.
Decades of non-interference by the Pakistani state in the business of Kashmiri separatism has led to a loss of internal sovereignty in Pakistan. The state is no longer able to convince its citizens that it should act against these groups. Though their own Shia are regularly butchered, a poll shows that a quarter of Pakistanis think Lashkar Tayyaba does good work. We think Indian Muslims are different from Pakistanis and less susceptible to fanaticism. It is interesting that within Pakistan, the only group openly and violently opposed to Taliban and terrorism are UP and Bihar migrants who form Karachi’s secular Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) party.
So what do the separatist groups want? It is wrong to see them as being only terrorist groups. They operate in an intellectual framework, and there is a higher idea that drives the violence. This is a perfect state with an executive who is pious, male and Sunni. Such a state, where all is done according to the book, will get God to shower his blessings on the citizens, who will all be Sunnis.
There are three types of Sunnis in Kashmir. Unionists, separatists, and neutrals. Unionists, like Omar Abdullah, are secular and likely to be repelled by separatism because they have seen the damage caused by political Islam in Pakistan. They might not be in love with Indians, but they see the beauty of the Indian Constitution. Neutrals, like Mehbooba Mufti, are pragmatic and will accept the Indian Constitution when in power, though they show defiance when out of it. This is fine, because they respond to a Muslim constituency that is uncertain, but isn’t totally alienated. The longer these two groups participate in democracy in Kashmir, the weaker the separatists become. The current violence is a result of this. Given their boycott of politics, the Hurriyat must rally its base by urging them to violence and most of it happens in Maisuma and Sopore. The violence should also clarify the problem in the minds of neutrals: If Kashmiri rule does not solve the azadi problem, what will?
India’s liberals are defensive when debating Kashmir because of our unfulfilled promise on plebiscite. But they shouldn’t be. There is really no option to secular democracy, whether one chooses it through a plebiscite or whether it is imposed. It is a universal idea and there is no second form of government in any culture or religion that works. The Islamic state is utopian and it never arrives. Since it is driven by belief, however, the search becomes quite desperate.
India has a constitution; Pakistan has editions. These are the various Pakistani constitutions: 1935 (secular), 1956 (federal), 1962 (dictatorial), 1973 (parliamentary), 1979 (Islamic), 1999 (presidential), 2008 (parliamentary). Why do they keep changing and searching? Muslims keep trying to hammer in Islamic bits into a set of laws that is actually quite complete. This is the Government of India Act of 1935, gifted to us by the British.
Kashmiris have it, and perhaps at some point they will learn to appreciate its beauty.
Aakar Patel will take a break from his column to write a book. He will return early next year.

Press Release
Reorganization of States including J&K inevitable!
Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, NPP & Member, National Integration Council while addressing several groups from Telangana, Gorkhaland and some other states at Jantar Mantar today demanded urgent attention of the Union Govt. for the Reorganization of several states with a clear agenda to strengthen the bonds of National Integration, security and democratic institutions to strengthen federalism in India.
He strongly advocated for the protection, promotion and preservation of cultural identity of the people in each region, may it be Gorkhaland in West Bengal, Jammu Pradesh and Ladakh in J&K, Telangana in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the situation in J&K is critical as the present coalition government of NC and Congress have become security risk and the state terrorism has became the rule of law which, he said, was obvious from the draconian act of the State Govt. to block the entry of Panthers Party Legislators to enter border Districts of Rajouri and Poonch which amounts to deep threat to the security of the state. He accused the Central Govt. for keeping quiet on the open loot of the State Exchequer and state terrorism. He said the Reorganization of J&K by allowing separate Assemblies for all the three regions; Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu is the only solution to end terrorism sponsored from across the borders and patronized by the State Govt.
Several members of Parliament belonging to Congress, Telugu Desam Party and Left Group addressed the meeting.

Taj Mahal: An Epic Manipulated (Part-3)
Photographic Evidences
An aerial view of the Taj Mahal alias Tejo Mahalaya, ancient Hindu temple complex in Agra. For the last 300 years the world has been fooled to believe that this stupendous edifice was built by the 5th generation Mogul emperor Shahjahan to commemorate one of his dead wives--Mumtaz. The two flanking buildings although identical, only the one in the rear is known as a mosque.
The Taj Mahal has seven stories. Five of them lie sealed and barred concealing rich evidence. The marble building in the centre is flanked by two symmetrical ones. The one in the foreground is the eastern one. The one in the background is being represented as a mosque because it is to the west. They should not have been identical if only one was to be a mosque. In the courtyard at the foot of the eastern building is inlaid a full scale replica of the trident pinnacle [found at the top of the dome]. The tiny tower at the left near the western building, encloses a huge octagonal multi-storied well.
This is the massive octagonal well with palatial apartments along its seven stories. A royal staircase descends right down to the water level indicated by the tiny white patch showing the sun's reflection.
This was the traditional treasury well of the Hindu temple palace. Treasure chests used to be stacked in the lower stories. Accountants, cashiers and treasurers sat in the upper stories. Cheques called handies used to be issued from here. On being besieged, if the building had to be surrendered to the enemy, the treasure used to be pushed into the water for salvage later after recapture. For real research, water should be pumped out of this well to reveal the evidence that lies at the bottom. This well is inside a tower near the so-called mosque to the west of the marble Taj. Had the Taj been a mausoleum this octagonal multistoried well would have been superfluous.
A frontal view of the Taj Mahal alias Tejo Mahalaya in Agra. It is octagonal because the Hindus believe in 10 directions. The pinnacle pointing to the heaven and the foundation to the nether world, plus the eight surface directions make the 10 directions. Divinity and royalty are believed to hold sway in all those 10 directions. Hence in Hindu tradition, buildings connected with royalty and divinity must have some octagonal features or the buildings themselves should be octagonal. The two flanking cupolas (two others to the rear are not seen in this photo) are also identical. The towers at the four plinth corners served as watch towers during the day, and to hold lights at night. Hindu wedding altars and Satyanarayan worship altars invariably have such towers at corners. [Many other Hindu temples, such as those at Khajurao, also can be found to have four towers or temples, one at each corner of the temple foundation.] The lotus flower cap on the head of the dome is a Hindu feature. Muslim domes are bald. This marble edifice has four stories. Inside the dome is an 83 ft. high hall. The Taj has a double dome. The dome one sees from inside ends like an inverted pan on the terrace. The dome seen from outside is a cover on the inner dome. Therefore, in between them is an 83 ft. hall. This may be considered as one storey. Underneath may be seen the first storey arches and the ground floor rooms. In the basement, visitors are shown one room. All these constitute the four storeys in the marble edifice. Below the marble structure are two stories in red stone reaching down to the river level. The 7thstorey must be below the river level because every ancient Hindu historic building did have a basement. Thus, the Taj is a seven-storied structure.
The dome of the Taj Mahal bearing a trident pinnacle made of a non-rusting eight-metal Hindu alloy. The pinnacle served as a lightning deflector too. This pinnacle has been blindly assumed by many to be an Islamic crescent and star, or a lightning conductor installed by the British. This is a measure of the careless manner in which Indian history has been studied till now. Visually identifiable things like this pinnacle too have been misinterpreted with impunity. The flower top of the dome, below the pinnacle, is an unmistakable Hindu sign. A full scale figure of this pinnacle is inlaid in the eastern courtyard.
A close up of the upper portion of the pinnacle of the Taj Mahal, photographed from the parapet beneath the dome. The Hindu horizontal crescent and the coconut top together look like a trident from the garden level. Islamic crescents are always oblique. Moreover they are almost always complete circles leaving a little opening for a star. This Hindu pinnacle had all these centuries been misinterpreted as an Islamic crescent and star or a lightning conductor installed by the British. The word "Allah" etched here by Shahjahan is absent in the courtyard replica. The coconut, the bent mango leaves under it and the supporting Kalash (water pot) are exclusive Hindu motifs.
The full scale figure of the pinnacle on the dome has been inlaid on the red stone courtyard of the Taj Mahal. One may see it to the east at the foot of the riverside arch of the flanking building wrongly dubbed as Jamiat Khana (community hall) by Muslim usurpers. Such floor sketches in courtyards are a common Hindu trait. In Fatehpur Sikri it is the backgammon board which is sketched on a central courtyard. The coconut top and the bent mango leaves underneath, resting on a kalash (i.e. a water pot) is a sacred Hindu motif. Hindu shrines in the Himalayan foothills have identical pinnacles [especially noticed at Kedarnath, a prominent Shiva temple]. The eastern location of the sketch is also typically Hindu. The length measures almost 32 ft.
The apex of the lofty entrance arch on all four sides of the Taj Mahal bears this red lotus and white trident--indicating that the building originated as a Hindu temple. The Koranic lettering forming the middle strip was grafted after Shahjahan seized the building from Jaipur state's Hindu ruler.
This is a riverside view of the Taj Mahal. The four storied marble structure above has under it these two stories reaching down to the river level. The 22 rooms shown in other photos are behind that line of arches seen in the middle. Each arch is flanked by Hindu lotus discs in white marble. Just above the ground level is the plinth. In the left corner of the plinth is a doorway indicating inside the plinth are many rooms sealed by Shahjahan. One could step out to the river bank from the door at the left. The 7th storey is surmised to be under the plinth below the ground because every ancient Hindu mansion had a basement. Excavation to reach the basement chamber should start under this door.
Most people content to see Mumtaz's grave inside the Taj fail to go to the rear riverside. This is the riverside view. From here one may notice that the four-storied marble structure on top has below it two more stories in red stone. Note the window aperture in the arch at the left. That indicates that there are rooms inside. Inside the row of arches in the upper part of the wall are 22 rooms. In addition to the four stories in marble, this one shows red stone arches in the 5th storey. The 6th storey lies in the plinth in the lower portion of the photo. In another photo a doorway would be seen in the left corner of the plinth, indicating the presence of apartments inside, from where one could emerge on the river for a bath.
These corridors at the approach of the Taj Mahal are typically Hindu. They may be seen in any ancient Hindu capital. Note the two octagonal tower cupolas at the right and left top. Only Hindus have special names for the eight directions and celestial guards assigned to each. Any octagonal feature in historic buildings should convince the visitor of their Hindu origin. Guards, palanquin bearers and other attendants resided in hundreds of rooms along numerous such corridors when the Taj Mahal was a Hindu temple palace. Thus the Taj was more magnificent and majestic before it was reduced to a sombre Islamic cemetery.
This Naqqar Khana alias Music House in the Taj Mahal garden is an incongruity if the Taj Mahal were an Islamic tomb. Close by on the right is the building which Muslims claim to be a mosque. The proximity of a mosque to the Music House is incongruous with Muslim tradition. In India, Muslims have a tradition of pelting stones on Hindu music processions passing over a mosque. Moreover a mausoleum needs silence. A dead person's repose is never to be disturbed. Who would then provide a band house for a dead Mumtaz? Contrarily Hindu temples and palaces have a music house because morning and evening Hindu chores begin to the sweet strains of sacred music.
Such are the rooms on the 1st floor of the marble structure of the Taj Mahal. The two staircases leading to this upper floor are kept locked and barred since Shahjahan's time. The floor and the marble walls of such upper floor rooms can be seen in the picture to have been stripped of its marble panels. Shahjahan used that uprooted marble from the upper floor for constructing graves and engraving the Koran because he did not know wherefrom to procure marble matching the splendour of the rest of the Taj Mahal. He was also so stingy as not to want to spend much even on converting a robbed Hindu temple into an Islamic mausoleum.
Such are the magnificent marble-paved, shining, cool, white bright rooms of the Taj Mahal temple palace's marble ground floor. Even the lower third portion of the walls is covered with magnificent marble mosaic. The doorway at the left looks suspiciously closed with a stone slab. One can perambulate through these rooms around the central octagonal sanctorum, now occupied by Mumtaz's fake grave. The aperture, seen through of the central door, enabled perambulating devotees to keep their eyes fixed on the Shiva Linga in the central chamber. Hindu Shiva Lingas are consecrated in two chambers, one above the other. Therefore, Shahjahan had to raise two graves in the name of Mumtaz--one in the marble basement and the other on the ground floor to desecrate and hide both the Shiva emblems from public view. [The famous Shiva temple in Ujjain also has an underground chamber for one of its Shiva-lingams.]
This is the Dhatura flower essential for Hindu Shiva worship. The flower is depicted in the shape of the sacred, esoteric Hindu incantation 'OM.' Embossed designs of this blooming 'OM' are drawn over the exterior of the octagonal central sanctorum of Shiva where now a fake grave in Mumtaz's has been planted. While perambulating around the central chamber one may see such 'OM' designs.
This staircase and another symmetrical one at the other end lead down to the storey beneath the marble platform. Visitors may go to the back of the marble plinth at the eastern or western end and descend down the staircase because it is open to the sky. But at the foot the archaeology department has set up an iron door which it keeps locked. Yet one may peep inside from the iron gate in the upper part of the door. Shahjahan had sealed even these two staircases. It was the British who opened them. But from Shahjahan's time the stories below and above the marble ground floor have been barred to visitors. We are still following Mogul dictates though long free from Mogul rule.
On the inner flank of the 22 locked rooms (in the secret storey in red stone below the marble platform) is this corridor about 12 ft. broad and 300 ft. long. Note the scallop design at the base of the plinth supporting the arches. This is the Hindu decoration which enables one to identify even a bare plinth.
One of the 22 rooms in the secret storey underneath the marble plinth of the Taj Mahal. Many such features of the Taj remain unknown to the public so long as they see it only as a tomb. If the public knew how much it is missing in the Taj Mahal it will insist that the government unseal its many stories. Two doorways at either end of this corridor in the right side wall leading to inner apartments have been sealed by Shahjahan. If those doorways are opened, important evidence concealed inside by Shahjahan may come to light.
A corner of one of the 22 rooms in the secret storey immediately below the marble platform of the Taj Mahal. Note the strips of Hindu paint on the wall. The ventilator at the left, meant for air and light from the riverside, has been crudely walled up by Shahjahan. He did not bother even to plaster them. Had Shahjahan built the Taj as a mausoleum what was the purpose of the 22 rooms? And why are they kept locked and hidden from the public?
One of the 22 locked rooms in the secret storey beneath the marble platform of the Taj Mahal. Strips of ancient Hindu paint are seen on the wall flanking the doorway. The niches above had paintings of Hindu idols, obviously rubbed off by Muslim desecraters. The rooms may be seen door within door in a row. If the public knew that the Taj Mahal is a structure hiding hundreds of rooms, they would insist on seeing the whole of it. At present they only peep into the grave chamber and walk away.
This esoteric Hindu design is painted on the ceiling of some of the 22 locked rooms in the secret storey below the marble platform of the Taj Mahal in Agra. Had Shahjahan built the Taj Mahal he would not have kept such elaborately painted rooms sealed and barred to the public. Even now one can enter these rooms only if one can influence the archaeology department to remove the locks.
A huge ventilator of one of the 22 rooms in a secret storey of the Taj, is seen here crudely sealed with unplastered bricks by Shahjahan. History has been so perverted and inverted that alien Muslims like Shahjahan who spoiled, damaged, desecrated and destroyed historic Hindu buildings, are being falsely paraded as great builders.
One of the 22 riverside rooms in a secret storey of the Taj Mahal, unknown to the public. Shahjahan, far from building the shining marble Taj, wantonly disfigured it. Here he has crudely walled up a doorway. Such imperial Mogul vandalism lies hidden from the public. This room is in the red stone storey immediately below the marble platform. Indian history has been turned topsy turvy in lauding destroyers as great builders.
Many such doorways of chambers in secret stories underneath the Taj Mahal have been sealed with brick and lime. Concealed inside could be valuable evidence such as Sanskrit inscriptions, Hindu idols, the original Hindu model of the Taj, the desecrated Shiva Linga, Hindu scriptures and temple equipment. Besides such sealed chambers there are many which are kept locked by the Government. The Public must raise its voice to have these opened or it should institute legal proceedings. Shree P. N. Sharma of Green Park, New Delhi who peeped through an aperture in these chambers in 1934 A.D. saw a pillared hall with images carved on the pillars.
Burharpur is a very ancient historic city on the Central Railway between Khandwa and Bhusawal junctions. Burhanpur and the nearby Asirgarh (fort) used to provide hospitality to Hindu royals proceeding north or south on pilgrimage, weddings or military expeditions. Barhanpur has many magnificent mansions which are currently being described as mosques and tombs of alien Islamic invaders. This building is one such ancient Hindu royal palace captured by the Moghuls. Mumtaz died here during her 14th delivery around 1630 A.D. while she and Shahjahan were camping here. She is said to be buried in a Hindu pavilion in front of this palace.
Mumtaz is supposed to be buried in this garden pavilion of the ancient Hindu palace (Ahu Mahal) 600 miles from Agra, in Burhanpur. Another version says that Mumtaz's corpse was kept here exposed to sun, rain, and wild beasts for six months. The date of her death, the date of her removal from Burhanpur to Agra, and the date of her assumed burial in the Taj Mahal are all unknown because the entire Taj Mahal-Mumtaz legend is a concoction from the beginning to end. [Mumtaz was only one of several hundred wives and women that Shahjahan kept in his harem.]
In a detail on the gate, we can see two elephant’s trunks, one on either side of the design, which would indicate Ganesh.
Inverted water-pots on top. Their number is always odd, 11 in this case, typical of the Vedic system. Notice also the cobra design in pairs below the gallery. Koranic inscriptions were a graffiti added by Shahjahan.
Wall decorations as we see here are typical Rajput style. There is also a balcony at first floor level.
Note the Trident within the lotus form at the apex. Both of which are Vedic references, the trident being connected with Lord Shiva.
The Veranda on the west side of the Entrance Gate. It was probably for public assemblies, discussions, teaching or chanting of Mantras.
Now you can see the "3" figure of the OM design within the carved marble flower, a definite Vedic design.
Conch shell decorations in marble carving next to the ventilation grill.
We are now outside the Cenotaph Chamber. Note how the steps in plain marble break up the designs on the plinth wall. This means that they are not original.
The Cenotaph chamber with marble screen. The point is why have an octagonal screen around two graves? It is more likely to have been an area of where sacred activities once took place.

An early photo of Taj from the riverside clearly showing 2 levels of hidden basements. Vincent Smith published this photo in his book "History of Fine Art in India and Ceylon", in 1911. The earliest we find such photo was in 1844 in Sleeman’s book – "Rambles and Recollections of an Indian Official". And yet no historian has ever been curious to go inside these basements.
Blue print of the Taj Mahal showing cross-section of Central Edifice in a book by J Fergusson in 1855. It clearly shows the hidden basements.
Here you can see, not far from the plinth of the Taj, the stairway that goes down to the 22 rooms. It is surrounded by the red sandstone railing.
Entrance to lower basement floor that is now bricked up.
The timber door before it was sealed up with bricks. In 1974 American Professor Marvin Mills took a sample from this door for Carbon dating and concluded that the Taj Mahal pre-dates Shahjahan. After this revelation, the Government of India removed the timber doors and the openings were bricked up, as shown in the previous photo.
Here is a typical tower (Burj) that is in familiar Rajput style, not Islamic in any way.
Stones for anchoring boats. On the North side of the Taj Mahal, there is a platform 3 ft 6 inches wide and it runs for the entire length. The platform also has embedded into it several stone rings for anchoring boats. In the photo we can see two such stones, one in the lower right front corner, the other further up the stream. This shows that the building was planned for facilitating boats for river transportation for the residents in the Taj. Again, these are not something you would need for a quiet or even vacant grave site. ALSO NOTE THE DESIGN.
Here is a copy of a page of the Badshahnama, the history of Shah Jahan, the so-called builder of the Taj Mahal. This is from the Government of India's National Archives, and available from the instituional libraries dealing with the medieval history of India.
This is supposed to have been written by the emperor's chronicler, the Mullah Abdul Hamid Lahori. It describes the site of the Taj Mahal as being full of majestic and lush gardens just south of the city (Agra). It goes on to say that the palace of Raja Mansingh, which was owned by his grandson Raja Jaisingh, was selected as the place for the burial of the queen Mumtaz. This means, of course, that Shah Jahan never built the Taj Mahal but only acquired it from the previous owner, who was Jaisingh.

Replica of the pinnacle design of the top of the main dome as found in the garden.
