My tribute to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on Maha-Shiva-Ratri

This personal Video shows my private view how I see the Vedic Culture as the Main-Trunk of all Sciences & Religions. There is nothing like Hinduism in Maharishis Movement outside India because that Name was given by the Moslems to the people from the Indus-Valley. So we can never be called "Hindus" but Vedic (Holistic) people; those who study the DNA of the Cosmic Intelligence!
My Name is Frank Lotz. My whole Family are Christians. I am a Protestant & my wife & my Children are Catholics. We believe in Christ being a Son of God but at the same me & my Family are giving respect to all main Religions & their Festivities in the Jewish-, Moslem-, Buddhist- & Hindu-Tradition knowing:
They are different ways of the cultures to reach God & gaining His Blessings!
On the 5. of February 2008 (it was exactly on the monthly Shiva-Ratri Day) my most beloved Master His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi "dropped" his mortal Body & went into Maha-Samadhi & entert the Gates of Lord Raamas Vaikuntha (Highest Heaven of God)

The Maha-Shivaratri Festival or the 'The Night of Shiva' is celebrated with devotion and religious fervor in honor of Lord Shiva, one of the Dewatas of Vedic Trinity, the 3 Gunas, the destroyer of Ignorance.

Maha-Shivaratri falls on the moonless 14th night of the new moon in the Vedic month of Phalgun, which corresponds to the month of February - March in Western Calendar.

Celebrating the festival of Shivaratri devotees observe day and night fast and perform ritual worship of Shiva Lingam to appease Lord Shiva.

In Honour of the Divine Marriage (UNION) of Lord Shiva & His dear Shakti, Parvati-Dewi on Maha-Shiva-Ratri "I" made this Video.

The Date of Maha-Shiva-Ratri in 2008 is:

Wednesday, March the 5.& continue till Sunrise the next day.

Maha-Shiva-Ratri.
The celebration lasts from sunset till dawn (6. of March)!

In the Vedic calendar all Vedic celebrations are calculated by the so-called "Moon-Calendar".




The Name Maha-Shiva Ratri comes from the Root:

Maha= Big or Great

Shiva= Total Silence, the pure Atma, Transcendental Being, the Cosmic Self.

Ratri= Night & the Marriage of Lord Shiva with Parvati or Prakriti= Mother Nature.

Parvati symbolizes the highest Power/Shakti/Pure Prakriti/Matter/ in the Universe.

Let Bliss, Peace, Love & unbounded Joy rise up within your heart and from your heart it shall extend through the unbounded Universe to bring fulfilment to God's desire: "I will fill the whole world with joy!"

Lord Shiva is transcendental; beyond Space Time & Relativity!

Beyond any religious Sect or Philosophy!

Shiva is eternal: He was before Hinduism or Christianity existed & will ever last.

Shiva is Apaurusheya: Uncreated & ever lasting!
