Mayan and Indiraprastha by Balakrishnan Ponneri

In Mahabharata, after the partition of land between Pandavas and Kauravas, the Pandavas was given just a barrel land. Out of which they had to built their kingdom. That is Indiraprastha. For constructing a kingdom the pandavas was asked to contact one "Mayan", who was known as a great architect at that time. Dhurishtar, the eldest of the Pandavas approached him for taking over the job. So Mayan accepted and built the Indiraprasta. Now, how Mayan was known for his architecture. Kindly recollect, our Neighbour Burma is famous for Teek Wood and those days the construction of palace/homes are made out of teek wood. Those who reside in the Teek Wood jungles only knows how to use the Teek Wood. Now, the history says, the Burma is rechristined as "Mayanmar" that means people of Mayan, as one can say. This is what I find a resumblens in the history. Any one could accept my findings please reply.

Interesting. But it could also mean the Mayans of America. They too are supposed tp possess great knowledge and technique at that time.
