Two Kashmiri youth suspected to be Pakistan based Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists, were arrested in the wee hours of the morning hours by the Police near Kotla about 55 kilometers from Dharamsala. Jamil

Ahmed Wani, 29 and Ghulam Nabi, 33, were arrested by police after the police party intercepted
their
vehicle near Kotla Bridge. Police said that after their vehicle was intercepted, both the terror suspects tried to escape. They were overpowered by the policemen after a chase chased.


Both arrested are said to be residents of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir. The police have recovered a Chinese made pistol and magazine from their possession. Police sources said that the two concealed their identity cards and gave wrong information about their names and addresses. Jamil Ahmed Wani was carrying fictitious identity card from election commission of India.

Further the Dharamsala police contacted the Jammu and Kashmir police to seek more information on the terror suspects. Sources told Hindustan Times that both the arrested terrorists were staying in Doda and had come to Kangra with motive of spreading terror. SSP Kangra Daljeet Thakur said the Police registered case under arms act and other relevant sections of Indian Penal Code.
