talking of ants

I have a small observation to make on the above subject:

I am talking of ants because like humans, they are billions on this earth.

Ants come into this world, they eat, grow. They work hard, have children and die of old age

Many ants get eaten by ant eaters and other creatures on this earth or die due to natural calamities. If an army of ants try to cross a road and a guy like me is motoring on this road, a few hundreds come under my wheel and die The lucky one escape.

The ants accept it matter of factly < annd don't curse their fate>, as they know it is part of life cycle on this earth and life and death are probably part of the evolutionary cycle.

This story may be true for almost all creatures on this earth. They all accept it stoically, calmly. They do not think of God, religion, spirituality, temples, mosques etc etc

If we humans are from this earth why do we not accept life and death in the same way as all the other creatures.

When we are in a crisis, why do we look UP to a cosmic, heavenly divine force almost instinctly, for help and guidance < and not down to Mother Earth>. Is it that we have some attachment to/part of a cosmic force.

Are we really part of this earth???

Looking forward to your views

Cheers

A C Rao
